Privacy policy

Version of 4 July 2026. This policy describes the processing of personal data carried out on the switzerland-1291.ch shop, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

1. Data controller

The data controller is EMVEE VENTURES LTD, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom — contact@switzerland-1291.ch. For any question relating to personal data, use the shop's Contact page or the email address above.

2. Data processed

  • Order data: name, delivery and billing address, email, phone (optional), items ordered.
  • Payment data: processed exclusively by the payment providers; we store no card data.
  • Browsing data: cookies, IP address, device type, pages viewed (statistics and security).
  • Newsletter: email, only on voluntary sign-up; one-click unsubscribe in every mailing.

3. Purposes

Performance of the contract (order processing, production, delivery, customer service), accounting, fraud prevention, improvement of the shop (statistics), and marketing communication only with your consent.

4. Disclosure to third parties

We pass on strictly necessary data to the following providers: Shopify (e-commerce platform and hosting of the shop), production and logistics partners (name, address, order contents), payment providers, emailing and audience-analytics tools. We never sell personal data.

5. Transfers abroad

Some providers process data outside Switzerland (notably the EU/EEA and the United States). These transfers rely on an adequacy decision of the Federal Council or on appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses).

6. Retention period

Data is kept for as long as necessary for the purposes described, then deleted or anonymised. Commercial and accounting documents are kept for 10 years in accordance with legal obligations (art. 958f CO).

7. Cookies

The shop uses cookies necessary for operation (cart, session, security) and, where applicable, audience-measurement and marketing cookies. You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings; the cart may stop working without the necessary cookies.

8. Your rights

In accordance with the FADP, you have the following rights: access to your data, rectification, erasure, objection to processing, and delivery or transfer of certain data in a common format. Exercise these rights via the Contact page or the data controller's address; proof of identity may be requested. You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

9. Security

The shop uses TLS encryption for all transmissions. Access to data is limited to the people who need it to fulfil the purposes described.

10. Changes

This policy may be adapted at any time; the version published on this page prevails.
