When is my order shipped?
Every piece goes through our workshops: embroidery or high-density print, then a quality check before it ships. Allow 24 to 48 h of preparation, then dispatch with a tracking number.
What are the delivery times within Switzerland?
Allow 24 to 48 h of preparation, then 48 to 72 h of delivery within Switzerland. You get a tracking email as soon as it ships.
Do you ship outside Switzerland?
Yes, to most European countries. Allow a few extra working days depending on the destination. Exact costs are shown at checkout.
Can I return an item?
Yes. You have 30 days from receipt to return an item that is unworn, unwashed and in its original condition. Write to us via the Contact page and we'll send you the steps. Refund to your payment method once the return arrives. Details on the Shipping & returns page.
How do I choose my size?
Caps and bucket hat: adjustable or two sizes depending on the model — exact measurements are on each product page. T-shirts and hoodies: unisex cut; between two sizes, size up. A size guide with flat measurements is on every product page.
What materials do you use?
Cap: thick brushed cotton, high-density embroidery — no print that cracks. T-shirts and hoodies: dense cotton. Water bottle: stainless steel. The exact composition and care instructions are on each product page.
Are you the Confederation's official shop?
No. GREAT SINCE 1291 is an independent brand, with no connection to the Confederation, the FDFA or Présence Suisse. The original cap was never sold commercially — ours is a homage, not a licence. We prefer to say so plainly.
Where are your products made?
Designed in Switzerland. Made in partner workshops across Europe, chosen for the quality of their embroidery and print. Pieces produced in Switzerland say so on their page.
